In May of 2013 I joined Dory Trimble ( a fellow Peace Corps Volunteer) and the staff of 'Declaro Mis Derechos' to lead a workshop on how to use theater as a tool for social activism. Declaro Mis Derechos is a non-profit that is working to support Dominicans of Haitian descent who have been denied their citizenship status and generally disenfranchised by the Dominican government.
